A famous comedian coined the phrase, “Get ‘er done!” to mean many things. But in reality, that phrase fits the feats of the very people charged with helping Zoom Group accomplish its mission of serving Louisville-area adults with developmental disabilities.
Though deeply rewarding, such work is not easy. So we want to salute those who, day after day, display the combined stamina and compassion to, well, get ‘er done in serving our clients! And that’s why we have our annual “You Made it Happen” award. These go out to people who contribute to Zoom Group’s causes in ways that: promote the enactment of our mission; enhance the quality of services to the individuals we serve; display positive teamwork and support to their colleagues; and show extraordinary efforts to grow and develop their program or division.
The 2011 “You Made It Happen” winners are:
- Shannon Carter, site manager, Sprint account at UPS-SCS
- Mary Pendelton, site Supervisor, VA janitorial and grounds maintenance
On behalf of everyone involved with Zoom Group, we thank you sincerely for your exemplary and humble service. We could never, well, get it done without you!
