Doug Sheridan didn’t waste any time when he recognized one of his VA Laundry coworkers was struggling to breathe. A Zoom Group client, Doug rushed to alert his supervisor, Helen Sanders, to the situation and she rushed back to find the employee choking.

Quickly, she administered the Heimlich Maneuver, which dislodged the item from the client’s throat and saved his life.
To show our appreciation for Doug’s and Helen’s quick thinking and successful fforts, Zoom Group presented each with Certificates of Excellence on Aug. 6.
Kudos to both of you! We’re so proud!
