Latitude Artist Community, a Lexington, Ky., studio that works with people with disabilities, received a Governor’s Awards in the Arts.
According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, the award is given to organizations that make a positive impact through the arts.
The 11-year-old Latitude was among other Kentucky other organizations and personalities, such as renowned author Bobbie Ann Mason, to receive the award on July 25.
