Chimel was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1989. He has been attending StudioWorkZ since 2010. Chimel is a highly skilled, autistic pop artist who enjoys painting iconic food and snack logos, as well as celebrities and historical figures. Chimel paints because it brings him joy, and he finds it calming and therapeutic. He is inspired by bold colors and the works of Andy Warhol and Vincent van Gogh. One of the most significant moments in his career was being asked to design the 2019 Kentucky Derby Festival Poster.
